Mani has a passion for public, administrative and constitutional law. She has represented Members of Parliament, NGOs, government bodies, Indigenous governments, and post-secondary institutions in judicial reviews, constitutional challenges, and public inquiries.

Defamation and Privacy Torts

Mani knows the importance of protecting a reputation and privacy interests. She has written about the emergence of privacy torts in Ontario and represented clients in defamation matters.

Intellectual Property Litigation

Mani appreciates the importance of intellectual property to any business. She has helped clients defend against IP infringement claims and enforce their IP rights— whether by sending a cease-and-desist letter or inside the courtroom

Class Actions

Mani believes in the importance of class actions as a tool for access to justice. She has an in-depth knowledge of the changing landscape of class action procedure in Ontario and the funding options available.

Tax Litigation

Mani understands the complexity of tax disputes. As a former Tax Court of Canada clerk and tax lawyer, she has unique insight into the process. Mani advocates for businesses and individuals, reducing the stress of dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency.
